Sprained Ankle

If you have sprained your ankle it is important to get proper care as soon as possible, preventing permanent damage. The injured ankle should be iced immediately and elevated. It should be further treated with compression to reduce the pain and swelling.

A good ankle brace can provide compression and reduce ankle movement to avoid further injury. You'll find there are several different types of ankle supports that are available including mild, moderate and maximum ankle bracing. The type of ankle support you need depends on how serious your ankle injury is. Also, whether this is the first sprain or a repeat injury.
